This visa enables employers to address labour shortages by bringing in skilled workers where employers can’t source an appropriately skilled Australian worker.
This visa, Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482) has three streams namely listed below:
- Medium-term stream
- Short-term stream
- Labour agreement stream
You will be able to apply Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) in either Labour agreement stream or Temporary Residence Transition stream after SC 482 visa.
Regional Employer Sponsored
This visa, Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 494) enables regional employers to address identified labour shortages within their region by sponsoring skilled workers where employers can’t source an appropriately skilled Australian worker.
You may be able to apply for Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191) after this visa.
Employer Sponsored
This visa, Employer Nomination Scheme visa (subclass 186) lets skilled workers who are nominated by their employer live and work in Australia permanently. This visa is also known as Direct Entry stream as you do not need have to go through temporary visa first.
