Ajay Sharma

Ajay Sharma has completed his Bachelor of Laws degree from La Trobe University in 2020 and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2021.

Ajay is driven by his passion for immigration law to provide positive outcomes for clients. His enthusiastic, empathic and calm approach allows him to solve complex immigration legal problems in a meaningful manner. He is keen and able to find the most desirable solutions in uncertain and pressured environments.

Ajay’s practice is directed at providing complex advice to clients across each area of migration law (including temporary, permanent, employer sponsored, working visa, skilled visa, family and humanitarian visas). He has experience in a range of complex matters in immigration law including notice of visa cancellation, applying ministerial intervention, requesting health waiver and handling character-based issues.

Before coming to Australia, Ajay obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi and a Company Secretary Course from the Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI). Ajay’s work was focused on assisting businesses in facilitating good corporate governance in India.

Due to Ajay’s background in business studies, he has more leverages than others to assist employers and employees in sponsorship, nomination and visa application in both temporary and permanent employer sponsored visas. In addition, he is also better suited to assist both employers and employees in compliance of working visa.

Ajay also looks after family law besides immigration law.

Ajay can speak Hindi, Nepali and Punjabi languages besides English.

Ajay loves playing cricket, reading books and watching movies.
